GSE Helping to Develop New Technology

Global Solar Energy (GSE) is working with Haogenplast, a leader in the development of vinyl membranes and other products, to jointly develop solarized water reservoir covers. GSE, from Tucson, AZ, USA and Haogenplast, from Kibbutz Haogen, Israel, are cooperating under a cost-share project issued by the Binational Industrial Research and Development (BIRD) Foundation, which encourages strategic partnerships and technical development between U.S. and Israeli firms.

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and Israel’s Ministry of National Infrastructure, Energy and Water Resources (MIEW) were involved in selecting the projects under a competitive format with extensive technical and financial criteria.
